My Life Socks !

Well I've moved to another country and finding that my love of knitting and crocheting baby and tots wear is a little too time consuming at the moment so I found another pasttime which I had intended to do years ago but just never got round to it.

I made my first pair of socks in Decemeber, well no not really.. I made 'a sock' a year ago after visiting Alley Pally and buying a sock kit. I made one sock and never got round to making the other one which was for my daughter who then proceeded to lose it as she couldn't wait for me to make the other one !

Any way... first pair of socks was while on holiday in Finland at Christmas time 2008 and I havn't looked back since. I love making them and don't know why I thought I wouldn't be able to knit on 4 dpn's .. got to master the '5 dpns' now oh and the toe up version too.
